What type of paint should i use for outdoor stepping stones?

it is muddy and rainy here someWhat type of paint should i use for outdoor stepping stones?
, if the stepping stones have never been painted, you need to use a concrete stain, paint on concrete will wear off and will need repainting very often, stain soaks into the concrete and there fore will not wear off, it comes in many colors , any paint store , or building material carries it. if they have been painted,-- use a wire brush in a drill, to remove as much paint as possible, then apply 1 or 2 coats of the stain, all thou sealing them will make them slick, it will keep them looking fresh, you could add some sand to the sealer to keep them rough enough to walk on and not slip down when they are wet----What type of paint should i use for outdoor stepping stones?
usssssse.... purple
try masonary paint it's for outdoor's and brick.
I would use B.I.N. primer for adhesion, coat it well and allow it to thoroughly dry. Then apply exterior enamel, several coats. You can make this more interesting by chosing two complementing colours and do a stippled effect. This is super easy. For example chose a dark shade of terracotta paint, coat and let dry. Then take a secondary shade of brown that is slightly lighter and with a dry brush just press the tips in the paint and then on the stone, just do it fast and if you mess it up wipe it off. When it is completely done, just leave it to dry. Cover with a Urethane Matt finish for extra protection.
There is paint specifically made for concrete. Check with your home improvement center.
