Seeking advice on which is the best tool to use to paint the underside of outdoor aluminum patio awning.?

I believe a brush would drip when painting overhead and am concerned about getting good coverage on the ridged surface. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!Seeking advice on which is the best tool to use to paint the underside of outdoor aluminum patio awning.?
You could roll on most of the paint and smooth with a brush.Seeking advice on which is the best tool to use to paint the underside of outdoor aluminum patio awning.?
Mini foam roller. Use a work pot that is large enough to keep the roller out of the paint. Find a screen that is smooth but will still spread the paint on the roller. A small brush to work the joints will be helpful. The last touch should be the roller. Keep the edges wet do not dry roll if you can help it.
A brush is still your best option. Don't overfill the brush before going overhead. A roller will still drip/splatter paint.
