What is the ideal temperature for outdoor painting(gloss onto metal, garage door).?

Hi,

If you are going to Gloss paint to Metal.try and wait till May its the best time of the year for any outside painting as all the icy weather will be gone,

you will find that it will last longer, as you know rust will form, if paint is not dry, as it takes approx 72 hours to cure. May I also suggest that you don't paint in the direct sunshine as blistering can occur.

Best time to paint is round about 10:30am as the morning due will be gone. wish you luck. What is the ideal temperature for outdoor painting(gloss onto metal, garage door).?
Anything above 50. 掳F @ night you don't want the temp to go below that. %26amp; oh BTW as long as the temp is above 50 @ night anytime of day is good. However don't paint it with the sun beating on it if possible you'll run into more problems. What is the ideal temperature for outdoor painting(gloss onto metal, garage door).?
It will tell you on the side of the tin.
Wait until its a bit warmer , and drier, just one point if they face the sun , then dark coloured paint is more prone to blistering
Better not in hot sun. Never in damp conditions, even if they are only atmospheric.
