What is the best outdoor paint to use that will not peel or chip off in a year.?

As you might guess the grade of paint is important - BUT - House Paint should not peel in less than 2 years - 3 years ideally - 5 years without peeling is Fantastic!

The secret is ';PROPER PREP WORK!'; The siding and trim need to be scraped down properly and it would not hurt of it were washed down with a mixture of 1 parts bleach per 3 parts water and rinsed off.

OLDER Houses are harder to deal with when it comes to chipping and pealing. You can scrape and wash - but the older paint tends to give way. Nothing you can do about it short of sandblasting and then you could end up with holes in places.

GOOD QUALITY PAINT (Sherwin Williams, Glidden Durkey, Dutch Boy, etc) PLUS A PROPER PREP WORK (scraping and washing of siding is dirty)What is the best outdoor paint to use that will not peel or chip off in a year.?
Latex is clearly the best. It wears as all paints do but latex does not scale or chip as oil based paints often do.What is the best outdoor paint to use that will not peel or chip off in a year.?
Dulux weather shield..plastisol based paint thaat will last for at least 10 years. this stuff is literally '; the business'; won't peel, crack, fade or whatever..I [ppainted my house 2 years ago and you would think I did it yesterday, same applies to a houe I painted 5 years ago with the same stuff...try to get it if you can..It's made in Ireland and England
